Client Experiences

Kaiti does wonderful work and my mare absolutely loves when she comes for a visit!
As a rider I love how Kaiti is able to help my horse work through any challenges by ensuring that she is at her physical best.
Happy horse, happy rider!

Kaiti is a valued and trusted colleague and I sometimes get lucky enough and she puts her hands on my horse Roam. It is so insightful and beneficial when you can trust a fellow bodyworker with your horse. Often times she is drawn to areas and can access parts of his body that I, as an owner, might have challenges with. I really appreciate the curious, calm approach Kaiti has with horses, and so does Roam. She has incredible attention to detail and is very skilled at connecting the dots. She happily shares her knowledge and does so in a very clear, comprehensive way! Thanks for all your input, Kaiti!

Kaiti has been instrumental in my mare’s journey to success for both her mental and physical health! Previously, Lulu disliked being touched, didn’t really trust humans and definitely didn’t realize that humans could make her feel comfortable. Now Lulu loves Kaiti’s visits (and loves Kaiti!) and she understands that humans can provide help and comfort.

Kaiti provides such an open space for the horses to communicate that Lulu is now able to tell us her likes and dislikes calmly rather than shutting down in anxiety and fear.

Kaiti was also able to solve one of the issues with body soreness and ‘mystery pain’ we were experiencing that our vet was unable to find the cause of. It took a bit of problem solving and thinking outside the box, but Lulu has gone from being very unrideable due to reactivity and pain, to being a fun, spicy little mare ready for an adventure!

Kaiti’s great strength is listening to what the horses need, and trying to provide it for them the best way possible. She is always willing to have in-depth conversations that explain what she’s doing and why, and is also up for listening to harebrained ideas and going down research holes on new topics. I love that she is always expanding her knowledge base, and learning new skills to add to her already overflowing toolbox.

Thank you Kaiti for helping save my mare, and for putting up with me and my constant questions and queries! Lulu and I would definitely not be where we are at today without you!

Rowan came out of winter with a flat rump on one side, and not as good as condition as I’d like. Having just experienced the benefits of myofascial release myself, when my friends were talking about Kaiti and her work I jumped at the chance to get Rowan treatment. Kaiti was great at getting an appointment set up and answering my questions, and showing an interest in follow up and care. One frisky day Rowan had done a sharp turn, hit ice and dropped on his right hip. Following my suspicions that this was the source of the problem, Kaiti quickly lulled him into a healing trance and I soon saw a full body roll-over return to his repertoire. I highly recommend Kaiti’s experience, skills and love for the animals she cares for.

Kaiti has been working with my off track thoroughbred for several months now, I have noticed an amazing change in not only Velvet’s happiness but her body has changed in such an amazing way. We are growing better muscle, our posture is getting better and better, we are gaining more range of motion also. It’s so neat to see the reactions Velvet gives when Kaiti touches the magic spots. 10/10 would recommend Free to Be Equine Services to all my friends.

My mare Kahlua is my lifer. We enjoy pleasure and trail riding, and just having fun in the arena. She always works hard for me, and as she gets older I like to do all I can to make sure she stays happy and healthy. We have had a couple sessions now and noticed it's benefits right away! Kahlua is very comfortable with Kaiti and really enjoys her visits. She has been able to pinpoint some areas we can work on strengthening to keep Kahlua nice and supple, as well as suggesting some exercises to incorporate in our rides. I truly believe that a session with Kaiti can be beneficial to any horse!

We would like to send a huge thank you to our friend Kaiti at Free to Be Equine Services for helping to bring this spectacular gelding out of his shell. Wadie has not only learned to love human touch he looks for it and will park himself into a position to be touched and pet.
Wadie is the most gentle, loving 3 year old you will ever meet.
Kaiti has donated her time and after only two sessions we have noticed a world of difference.
Thank you so much Kaiti - you are an amazing human and have helped this horse more than you know!

[…] I was so impressed and relieved. Justin stood in the barn aisle for 20 minutes snoozing and processing his session. The next day he was almost good as new and back to his normal self.

I am so grateful Kaiti was there that day. Not only was she able to help him during an acute spasm but it also reminded me of the importance of having regular visits with my equine care team because having someone who my horses already know and trust makes these situations so much easier and less stressful.

If you haven’t made Kaiti part of your regular horse care team yet, I highly recommend it. She saved my butt that day.

My farrier came out and asked what I have done differently with the horses. Usually with Tia I have to Bute her the night before the farrier because she gets so sore and even with that the farrier isn’t able to use the stand. Tia has no Bute and was able to lift her leg up on the stand. And Hal was not nearly as tight to get under. My farrier was so amazed by the incredible work you have done on both horses. I really can’t thank you enough for the difference you have made in the lives of Hal and Tia.
